A cultural home for Tamils across Australia — protecting our language and heritage, one of the world's oldest, while serving our multicultural community through education, health, environment & sustainable growth.
It is a privilege to share this message on behalf of Australian Tamil Sangam Inc.
Since our establishment in 2022, we have been committed to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Tamil language and culture while contributing to Australia's vibrant multicultural society.
What began as a small initiative by a few passionate individuals has grown into a strong and connected community. We continue to celebrate our traditions while supporting the evolving needs of our people through programs in education, health, social support, and services aligned with NDIS and aged care.
Our focus remains on empowering individuals and families — especially seniors, migrants, refugees, and people with disabilities — to live with dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging.
I sincerely thank our volunteers, partners, and community members for their ongoing support. Together, we are building a more inclusive and resilient future.

The Australian Tamil Sangam Inc., registered in 2022, was founded by a small group of passionate community members committed to preserving and promoting Tamil culture and language — one of the world's most ancient and enduring traditions.
Recognising the importance of cultural identity in a diverse and evolving society, the Sangam emerged as a platform to unite Tamil-speaking people across Australia while also contributing meaningfully to the broader multicultural landscape.
From its inception, the organisation has worked to celebrate Tamil heritage through cultural events, language education, and community engagement initiatives. At the same time, it has embraced a forward-looking vision that extends beyond cultural preservation — supporting community wellbeing through education, health awareness, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development.
